These are the necessary decorations for my family in each new year, but I do think most  people who live in Chaoshan also have these decoration.The first picture shows new year's scrolls and it contains people' good expectations in next new year. Red and aureate words also represent lucky. 

 

 

The second picture shows another decoration called Chinese knot. It is also a symbol of luck but it also contains people's expectations for a united and more developed family.
